Lawrenceville has been my home for last 16 years, I am a transplant from NH and am happy to have found a community very much like the one I grew up in. I have a business degree but I have always drawn and painted and been in love with the creative process. My husband gave me a Nikon, 35mm camera as a gift about 8 years ago and I have never looked back. This was something new; photography became my new creative passion. Another gift of a Nikon Digital camera has allowed me to grow and be more creative. I am a self-taught artist and macro photography is my creative outlet. I love to photograph the exquisite beauty that exists right in our own backyards. I greatly enjoy the creative process and finding ways to utilize my photographs to create other works of art such as birdhouses, ornaments and coasters. I have also recently started painting again and will use this process on many other objects besides paper.

Artist’s Statement

Macro photography has allowed me to step into the delicate beauty that surrounds us everyday. The texture, depth and light that are in each and every flower, each and every object around us, inspires me to see life and beauty and joy in everyday. Seeing this beauty reminds me to enjoy what is around me and appreciate my life and all the wonderful things it holds.
