The LMS Artists Network is committed to participating in as many events as possible to support the local community—and to spread awareness of our art organization. These events include: The Lawrenceville Farmer’s Market, Lawrence Township Community Day, Art on the Town and The Taste of Lawrenceville, The Lawrenceville Jubilee, Historical Society events, local University and school events—and we welcomed Santa to Weeden Park last year! Look for us all around town. You may even see our Gallery WOW (Without Walls) shows at local restaurants and businesses. To find out about our regular Open House Events and Receptions, click here.

Our 2nd Annual Birthday celebration was a fun gathering of Artists and Patrons! We had grooving tunes from Barry Wilcox on his electric piano, and birthday cake—of course! New artwork was to be found everywhere including a few new Gallery Members. A great start to our third year as a beloved community Art Center.

View the luscious colors of Christina Peckham, on display for the month of October at our gallery and also at local restaurant Chamber's Walk.
In September The Artist's Network
joined their neighbors,
The Purple Cow and Chamber's Walk
in hosting a fundraising event for

Christine's Hope was founded as a tribute to a youngHopewell woman, Christine Gianacaci, who was killed during the Haiti earthquake doing what she loved most—helping children. Her parents created Christine's Hope in an effort to carry on their daughter's work by aiding underprivileged children in the US. You can read more about it here: www.christineshope.org
The show, appropriately entitled "Hope," was inspiring. But, more inspiring are the needs that will be met for many children as a result of the monies raised, at our Silent Auction and other fund-raising activites, at this event.
It was a great turn-out and a beautiful night. Music from a folk-jam with Beau and friends floated through the air in the alley between the Gallery and The Purple Cow. And, the smells of delicious food wafted from a Chamber's Walk Tent out back. Artists donated works for the Silent Auction benefiting Christine's Hope.
Thanks to all who helped make this event a very special one!

The Artists Network was happy to sponsor the Meadowgate Alpaca
Farm as part of the Lawrenceville Main Street 6th Biennial House Tour. The farm is located at 3071 Lawrenceville Road and was one of the 6 houses featured on the tour. Artists participated in Plein Air painting around the farm, and curated a show of cooperative artist's works for one of the Barns. It was a wonderful experience for both the artists and we believe for the owners of the farm as well. The House Tour was well attended and many came from there to visit the gallery for the opening Reception of our new show: "Spring At Last," on view now until June 5th.
Our April Reception brought out many guest poets and artist's alike. There was beautiful harp music being played by our network artist Cynthia Dixon and we hosted poetry readings by the visiting poets, as well.
