Jean is a painter and art therapist who lives in Lawrenceville. She has been drawing and painting since childhood. She studied at the New York City's Art Students League and The School of Visual Arts before receiving her Masters in Art Therapy at New York University. She works in a variety of media, including watercolors, pastels and graphite drawing, but presently focuses on oil painting. Her landscapes and still lifes reflect the influence of time spent at family homes on Nantucket and Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Her art therapy practice includes working with private clients both individually and in groups, and in a psychiatric hospital women’s trauma program.
