I first got my pottery wheel and kiln over thirty years ago and it has been a large part of my life ever since. Throughout all my other activities, my day and night dreams have always come back to lines, and shapes, shapes, shapes. I want to make creative mostly functional ware that expresses me and pleases others.
Since 1998 I have been doing my pottery full time.

The natural world, organic shapes, and functionality currently inform my work. My accurate sundials were the first thing I worked toward, then musical flutes. The bowls and vases and plates came next, and functional ware is my focus now. I love commissions, as they are usually exacting and exciting both at the same time.

I have been fortunate enough to study under the tutelage of a Master Potter formally of Hopewell, NJ, to whom I owe and enormous and abiding debt of gratitude.
